Houkouen
Mountain AreaRyogochi is a tea production area on the upper reaches of the Okitsu River. Here Houkouen's tea plantation is located, spread out on a steep slope at an elevation of 350 meters. It is popular not only for the quality of its tea, but also for its spectacular view of Mt. Fuji and sea of clouds.
In response to requests from visitors who wanted to see the sea of clouds, tour the tea plantation, and sample the tea, the owner, Jiro Katahira, started a tour of the tea plantation. With Jiro as your guide, you will have the special opportunity of seeing, touching, and tasting the view from the tea fields, the scenery of Ryogochi, and the tea making process.
