Maru Seiurushibata Tea Plantation

The "Maru Seiurushibata Tea Plantation" is located within Nihondaira, the birthplace of Yabukita tea. It is located in a scenic spot overlooking tea plantations, Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. It's a popular spot for Shizuoka's taxi tours.

We invite you to our factory tour, guided by a Japanese tea instructor, in which you can compare different teas paired with homemade sweets while basking in the view of Mt. Fuji.

Access

  • 5 minutes on foot from the Nihondaira Line Zoo Entrance on the Shizutetsu Justline bus.
  • 10 minutes by car from the Nihondaira Kunozan Smart IC.

Activities

Details Tea garden tour and tea picking experience (April - June). Includes an explanation on professional tea making by a Japanese tea instructor and a comparison of two types of sencha (with homemade Japanese sweets). 2,000 yen. 1,000 yen for high school students and younger. ※ Prices are per person.
