Nagamine Hanacafe, Nagamine Seicha, Miwa store

Bay Area

Founded in 1876, Nagamine Seicha is a long-established and award-winning tea wholesaler in Shizuoka that adheres to the philosophy of manufacturing and selling directly.

The story of Nagamine Seicha has been one of more than 145 years of maintaining a commitment to traditional techniques and quality.

The café space inside the restaurant allows you to experience Japanese tea pairings. The menu includes Tohei gyokuro, green tea, Takakusa black tea, and hojicha, all served using traditional methods. In addition, bodhi, a sparkling lactic acid fermented tea, is also offered.

In addition, a tea-dyeing experience using tea leaves from the Takakusayama Regenerative Tea Garden is worth experiencing. Try making your very own original tenugui towel using the traditional Itajime Shibori technique.

After the experience, enjoy a special tea time unique to Shizuoka while relaxing, shopping, and enjoying the seasonal sweet treats at the shop and café.
