Yoshida Park (Shizuoka Prefecture Managed Park)

Yoshida Park, located a short 15 minute-drive from Shizuoka Mt. Fuji Airport, sits on approximately 14 hectares of the prime preserve along the Oi River. The expansive green space boasts a grassy field area, which hosts outdoor events such as music concerts, a biotope area with ponds, and seasonal flower gardens that feature daffodils, plum, and cherry blossoms, tulips, azaleas, hydrangeas, sunflowers, and cosmoses. During springtime, the park is even home to an annual Tulip Festival!

The Yoshida fishing port is famous for its whitebait catch, making Yoshida whitebait dishes a must-try! Enjoy “Kamaage Shirasu,” traditionally prepared fresh whitebait, or “Chirimen Shirasu,” sun-dried whitebait.
