Gyokuro Terrace Asahina

Mountain Area

Along with Uji (Kyoto) and Yame (Fukuoka), Asahina is one of Japan's three major production centers of gyokuro tea.

Here you can enjoy genuine gyokuro grown by master producers. They will introduce visitors to the climate, traditions, and charms of Asahina while guiding visitors through the tea fields.

In addition, visitors can enjoy a serving of tsuyucha in a perfect setting and try tea leaves topped with ponzu and dried bonito flakes. Visitors can also learn about Asahina's unique cultivation methods as part of a true gyokuro tea experience.
