Creating special moments with loved ones

About 1 km from JR Yaizu Station toward Yaizu Port, the Hamadori district, was once bustling with fish merchants and is known as the birthplace of Yaizu Fisheries. It is also a special place that tells the history and development of Yaizu to the present day.

Nestled along the coastline, Niwayado hoya is a historic traditional house that was the birthplace of Yasujiro Hattori, one of the founding fathers of Yaizu's fishing industry. It was reborn as a rental inn in April 2021 after careful restoration work by skilled artisans.

This tranquil space, surrounded by greenery and gardens, features spacious guest rooms that can comfortably accommodate families, groups, and large gatherings. It can also be used as a space for other purposes, such as hosting workshops and classes.

Niwayado hoya is a place where visitors and locals naturally come together, evoking feelings of nostalgia and tranquility. Alongside the market, Niwayado hoya is creating and delivering new memories and experiences along the Hamadori coast.
