Shizuoka Downtown

Spend a day in Shizuoka in tea fields and established wholesalers in English

Located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture is known as the number one tea-producing region in Japan. It is in this setting that visitors can enjoy a unique experience that includes a visit to a local tea farmer, a walk through tea fields, and a light meal and photo shoot at the "Tea Terrace in the Sky.”

Afterwards is a visit to a tea wholesaler that has been in business for over 170 years since the Edo period. You can compare different teas and even create your own original blends.

The opportunity to be served a delicious cup of tea in a quaint Japanese house and interact with tea farmers is one that cannot be missed.
