A Place Where Everyone Belongs

The concept of Ishidatami Teahouse -en- is "a place where everyone belongs.” We have created a place where local children, students, businessmen, housewives, and the elderly will want to drop by every day.

Please spend your precious time here as you please.

Café..
We offer a menu centered around rice cooked in a stove pot.
Our "café" is a place where you can discover your favorite time, whether it be eating rice balls on the porch, reading a book and having tea time at the counter, or chatting over a meal around the chabutai (a small table on which you can sit and chat while enjoying your meal).

Please have a relaxing time, typical of the Kanaya area, while listening to the chirping of birds.

Tosho..
Not only do we have bookshelves for children to borrow books to read, but we also have a space where they can learn about money by buying candy, and learn how to play with old-fashioned toys from their grandparents’ time.

[Tosho] is a place that creates connections that transcend generations.
Please enjoy your own time in this comfortable space.

Sauna..
Men and women can wear swimsuits and enjoy a completely private sauna area with anyone they like.

Visitors can bask in our special Kanaya Hojicha Löyly (the Finnish tradition of pouring water over sauna stones heated on a stove to generate steam) and outside air-bathing in reclining chairs with a picturesque view of Mt. Fuji.

The sauna is after all the earth’s place of equality.
Why don't you open yourself up and encounter a new you?
